Perspective Technologies was formed in 2001 by Dave and Edward Wichmann. Together, the company principals have 25 years of experience in providing IT consultancy to Lloyd's, London Market and North American insurance companies.
Both principals were key architects of a leading system for Lloyd's syndicates in run-off. Today, this system handles a large percentage of the Lloyd's syndicates in run-off and Perspective Technologies continue to offer technical assistance in all aspects of its operation including analysis, design, program construction and data conversion projects.
In 2004 Perspective delivered a ground-breaking system for the operation of a North American insurance group. This system is deployed over the internet allowing access from anywhere. Data encryption and a secure data centre ensure complete security of data. The system has innovative workflow components allowing increased efficiency in claims handling and reinsurance recovery. Perspective have since successfully migrated a further book of business onto the system.
Whilst being insurance-focused, Perspective Technologies is a technology company, and as such has followed the London market in the move to the second generation of EDI; web services with ACORD standard messages. Our new ACORD messaging system onMessage, has been certified by ACORD as compliant to their standards. We can provide consultancy on these new technologies as well as Java, J2EE, Sybase, Powerbuilder, database administration and web-site construction.
